The Young Family is pleased to announce that Rebecca M. Young, Esquire, has joined her father, Donald S. Young, in the practice of law, 30 years after he joined his father, Robert K. Young. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in October 2007, and was sworn into the Lehigh County Bar at a formal ceremony on January 25, 2008.
The Young Family has a long history with Macungie. Rebecca’s practice of law in Macungie follows her grandfather’s evening hour office on Main Street during 1959 and 1960, his Borough solicitorship from 1964 to 1974, her father’s part-time office from 1980 to 1984, and his full time staffed office from 1985 to present. Rebecca works alongside her father in the same building as her uncle, Bill Young, who owns and runs Home Settlement Services, which holds real estate closings with the help of another uncle, Dave Young, a title searcher.
Rebecca was born and raised at the end of Church Street in a home that has been in the family since 1881, and is currently residing on Lea Street with her sister, Margaret Young, a sales associate at Prudential Patt White Realtors in Macungie.
Rebecca graduated from Emmaus High School in 2000, received her Bachelor of Science degree at Elizabethtown College in 2004, and received her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law on May 19, 2007.
Young & Young, Attorneys at Law, will continue to concentrate on Real Estate, Wills, and Estates, providing additional services to businesses, landlords, civil litigants, and domestic relation matters, with the secretarial assistance of Rebecca’s mother, Debra R. Young.
